Shine Funding is led by Serita Boxall, who has over 18 years’ experience in charity fundraising and marketing, supporting charities of all sizes to grow their income, strengthen their profile and increase their impact.  Specialising in trust and foundation fundraising, with additional experience across individual giving, events, corporate partnerships, and wider income generation.

Serita was instrumental in securing funding for Dyslexia Thanet Foundation to ensure that our service was accessible and inclusive for families and young people requiring access to specialist dyslexia tuition. This made a huge positive impact to families as young people of all ages were able to attend sessions on a weekly basis and receive specialist tuition in a group and 1:1 with an experienced teacher.  Without this funding we would not have been able to offer this service in the community which had a positive impact on young people's education, wellbeing and future.  Thank you Serita, we could not have done it without you!
